1/48 Hasegawa Spitfire Mk IX

This is my Spitfire Mk. IX from Hasegawa. Built Out of the box. Only modification was the sanding of the bulges in the upper side of the wings.

Decals are from Watermark Sheet No.48003 Canadian Spitfires.

This Spitfire was flown by H.G. Garwood while in 412 Squadron over France.   He was shot down a week after the invasion, making a wheels up landing behind friendly lines.
