1/48 Hobbycraft Bearcat

The kit is the US Navy F8F-2 Bearcat from Hobbycraft.  The kit was built pretty much out of the box.  I also added  some Eduard photo-etched stuff to the kit as well.  The wiring harness, as well as the seat,  instrument panel and the gear doors are all photo etched, as well as some smaller bits and pieces in the cockpit.

The gun barrels were made from cattle syringes, cut to length with the Dremel.  Kit was painted with Ginze acrylics and gloss coated with Future.  Kit decals were used.
