This is my second
Hasegawa "Pete" that was built with the remnants of the photoetch fret
designed for the kit. An able modeller could easily scratch make alternative
parts instead. The kit is very good featuring highly detailed engraved panel
lines albeit small fit problems.

Recent kits produced by
leading model manufacturers feature superb texture rendering, but provide
roundel insignia decals that cover large surfaces and spoil the fineness
of the completed model. Therefore, I adopted a new approach in terms
of the preparation of templates instead of applying decals. It is a
small and rewarding job that will leave an even texture for both the
camouflage and insignia areas.
Enjoy the photos.
