This particular Sea Fury is an interesting air racer.  It is a sea Fury fitted with the more powerful Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp 28-cylinder supercharged air-cooled four-row radial engine.  This is the same engine that was used to power the Goodyear F2G Corsair, that were quite popular in the air races.
