This is the 57th Hornet I have shown on ARC. If you think that is nuts, then you have not seen my Phantom collection. So that is 57 Hornets. 19 of which are Canadian in 1/48 scale. A bunch of the really old 1/72 scale ones are being dumped as the bigger ones come on line. This would be one of those times. A photo of both this build and the old reject 72 scale kit is in here.

This kit is mostly OOB. The add ons are some photo etch straps for the ejection seats and the Leading Edge decals. LE did an outstanding job on this sheet. The curves fit perfectly on the Hasegawa kit so I do not know how well they would work on another company's kit.

The scheme was Y2K, ushering a new era of peace. Well......sadly that sure has not happened for the first 15 years of this century so lets hope the rest of this century gets a lot happier. Also included is a photo of my other 18 Hornets in 1/48 scale and Canadian markings.
