This is the non-scale Hasegawa F-4 Phantom Boy kit. I began by cutting the pilot and cockpit out to insert a pilot and RIO from a couple of other Egg Plane kits with stand alone pilot figures. I built a box (cockpit) to set them in. I drilled out the exhaust to insert a 1/48 resin/photo-etch one that was shortened to accommodate the intake which came with the set. I used a brass 1/32 pitot tube. I used drop tanks and bombs from an A-6 and spare parts from my cache to detail them out. Bits and pieces of plastic scape made detail parts.

The plane was painted black and a set of Rose Ridge Egg Plane decals was used. I wanted the decals to look different than any others and I used red decal strips to cover the silver on the Rose Ridge decals. After applying and using decal-sol, the whole thing was clear coated and mounted for flight! I hope you enjoy it.

Wing tips were cut away and clear red and blue plastic was glued and polished to the shape of the wing. The missiles on the bottom had to be flattened on one side to make them work with the model. This bad boy has all the bombs and missiles to start a mini war. I have always liked a plane loaded with all of these.
