This is the Academy
F-86F.The kit was built basically out of the box. I scratch built the details in
the cockpit. Academy's cockpits are fairly sparse.

The A/C depicts a Korean war era
jet on Eduards PSP planking. This was my first use of Alcad paints. The
grain is very fine and is a good representation of natural metal. Follow
their directions and it is very simple.
Aeromaster decals were used.
Cutting edges brass helmet and hose were used for the cockpit sill. The map was
scratchbuilt. A great build and one of my favorite aircraft.
