Best known as the PBY-5A Catalina, I built this as an OA-10A Vickers, which is virtually the same thing anyway.  This aircraft represents one that was flown by the 4th rescue squadron based at Hamilton Air Force Base in California circa 1950.

I decided to make this one as it is decidedly more colourful than the other versions of the "cat", either black or blue.  One has to admit, two tone grey can get boring after a while, eh?
