La-7 is injection
model kit in 1/72 scale first issued by Great Britain Frog company in 1975 year.
Later it have been re-issued by Novo company. It have been producted by Soviet
DFI factory.
This model of La-7
is my older project. I have build La-7 mainly out of box. I have added and
modified several parts (canopy, cockpit, pitot tube, guns etc). I have used
Agama colours (enamels) Extratech decals for Czechoslovak national insignias,
other decals I have used from 1/72 KP La-7 decal sheet.
Lavochkin La-7 (S-97
in Czechoslovak AF type code) was used by Czechoslovak AF in post-WWII period.
Real S-97
“SU-60“ served as fighter aircraft in 3rd flight (3.letka) of LP
44 (Air Regiment No.44), Czechoslovak Air Force based at Piestany airfield on
1947.
