This kit was built using blackbox cockpit and twobobs decals, I felt that the cockpit is a must as the kit cockpit uses decals for the details. Building it was not smooth and requires alot of putty and sanding, the most difficult part is the intake. I spent a large number of hours to get a seamless intake. There is a significant gap when the upper front fuselage and the lower fuselage join together, more putty is needed there.

Most of the issues were addressed by other builders in the gallery section. They provided me with the most helpful advice and I want to thank them. 

I started this kit because I know Revell's kit is hitting the shelf now, but I still wanted to finish this kit. It still captures the super hornet look but requires more patience and care.
