Here is part three
in the continuing series, "Does Phantom actually build models?".
This
batch will be nothing but tomcats. My second favorite aircraft. All of the 48
scale ones here are Hasegawa. First one shown is with superscale decals, VF-31
Tomcatters, still flying the tomcat for a little while yet. VF-213 Black Lions
tomcat can be found in CVW-8 part 2.

The next are from a
couple cruises back on the "Enterprise". Have to love a ship named
Enterprise. VF-41 Black aces and VF-14 Top Hatters. Both these squadrons are now
in the Super Hornet, F and E.
Final shots are all VF-84 the
"real" Jolly Rogers. Or at least slightly semi original Jolly Rogers.
The toned down 48 scale tomcat uses Superscale decals, the 1/32 Tamiya is
completely OOB including the kit decals. The colourful 48 scale JR tomcat is the
big flag Tomcat using VF-decals. Very nice decals these VF guys make, go buy
some you'll like em'.
