Santa Cruz Decals is a company in Portugal that specializes in decals of the Portuguese Air Force. This is their first walkaround book. This 29 page book covers the Alouette III. Inside the book you'll find 61 photos (10 colour and 51 black and white photos) of the exterior and interior of this classic helicoptor. The selection of the photos mostly covers the exterior details of the Alouette III. There are 5 colour photos of the cockpit as well as a selection of black and white photos of the cockpit. There are also a selection of black and white photos of the engine without engine covers as well as the rotor head. The Alouette III featured in this book is in white UN paint scheme with black markings.

There are no photos of the cabin area behind the cockpit. The small amount of text in this book is in Portuguese but this shouldn't be a problem as the amount of text is very small and the pictures really tell the whole story. There is enough of a selection of photos in this book to provide a good walkaround of the Alouette III. By using the close-up black and white detail photos in conjunction with the wider angle colour photos it is possible for the modeller to figure out most if not all of the details on this chopper. I believe this book would be of an asset to anyone building an Alouette III and in need of walkaround photos.
