The Ultimate paint
Conversion Chart has had some upgrades this month, search is finally here.
Along with another great feature – a filter on FS595.
|
- 1. FS595 filter.
When enabled, click in the header of the FS filter column and
start typing what you’re looking for. For example, if you type
340 you’ll be shown all FS595 numbers that start with 340
(34077/34079/34082 etc) – the list will contract as you type.
Very handy if you want to see what’s ‘close’ to what
you’re looking for.
- 2. Search. Enter
anything in here to search the currently selected columns. Hence
the reason for the ‘select all’ button – this allows you
to search everything. The search is not case-sensitive. For
example, searching for ‘Hemp’, ‘HEMP’, ‘hemp’,
‘hEmP’ will produce the same results.
- 3. Don’t forget
about column sorting. The default sort is on FS595 – simply
click on the header of another column to sort on that one. If
you hover over the column you’ll see the number 1 along with
an arrow pointing up, click on it to reverse the sort order. For
multi-column sorting simply hover over the ‘number’ area in
the header of the column and you can click to create a secondary
or tertiary sort etc.

Terry added a resin cockpit and open panels, wheel bays,
exhausts and photo etch and finished it off in Japanese
markings. This model shows the great results you can get after
piles of effort.

started today with a colorful and highly detailed 1/48 Flashback Aviatik Berg D1.
This plane has more detail than the real plane and after seeing
this I think quite a few people will be thinking of trying to build
a bi-plane. Excellent job Huberlu.

it appears on ARC. Sergei comes from Russia and he knows his
Russian aircraft very well, but today he is here with his 1/48 Monogram F-100C
which he did a beautiful job on. I know you will enjoy seeing
this Vietnam War F-105.

Franz did some extra detailing in important areas that show, then he
used a very simple but effective technique to get the multi-shaded

made something very special. This is his 1/48 Academy
MiG-21PF diorama in the markings for the Syrian Air Forces

cockpit in Eriks 109.......amazing work. This 109 beauty is

nice 1/32 Su-27 Nosecone correction kit from Zactomodels.
These resin nosecone lengthens the nose and corrects its angle as
well as providing detailed engraved panel lines corrects the shape
of the intake and includes a new intake lip.

joins us from the Russian Federation with his excellent 1/32 Tamiya F-16C Fighting Fulcrum.
Boris did a fantastic job on his F-16 and finished it off with Twobobs
decals. |

joins us from sunny Spain with a very creative his 1/32 Mustang P-51
in junkyard. Angel created a diorama of a stripped down
P-51 parts plane. Most of the engine details were scratchbuilt
with great success. |

John "Johnopfor" Lanning
has done a
marvelous job on his 1/72 Fujimi Sabre Mk.5 drone.
This is a little known Sabre
used in weapons testing programs and John tell the full history in
his article. A very interesting read.

has been very busy trying to get the paint scheme correct on his
1/48 Tamiya Hs-123 A-1 - z. Laurent
rescribed the panel lines and chose to finish his Hs-123 in a paint
scheme from the late 1930's. |

This very nicely done Hornet was given a full weapons load and
droptank and finished off in the markings for VFA-132 Privateers
stationed at NAS Cecil Field, Florida in the early to late eighties.

dropped by the ARC Corporate office in sunny Malta with
his 1/72 Valom Supermarine Walrus Mk1. His Walrus is
made from a limited run kit that is quite well done and builds up
into a excellent looking model as Carmel has shown in his

I'm please to announce the new ARC
Super Moderator Team has been set up. This team of 5
members includes (in alphabetical order) Albert Moore, Alvis 3.1, madmike, moeggo
and terrysumner. Steve Filak and myself (SBARC)
will remain as Admin to deal with Admin level tasks. I do expect this Super
Moderator team to grow in the future. I am very satisfied with
the current team members and they are freeing up my time for other
things.

Artur Oslizlo
has been busy creating his 1/48 Eduard/EagleDesign C-7 Kfir.
Artur used the EagleDesign conversion set along with decals
from IsraDecals and Python missiles are from Paragon to build his
Kfir before finishing it with one of those great looking Israeli
paint schemes complete with weathering.
